About us: Thuislocaties

Koetshuis Sloten and Singel80 are the two venues owned by the Hessels/Visser family.

In 2007, the family decided to convert the old carriage house into a small-scale meeting venue because, at the time, they found that they were meeting mostly in grey, overly functional rooms. “Surely there must be a different way,” they thought. Which is how these spaces were created. 2011 saw the opening of Singel80, the urban counterpart of Koetshuis Sloten. Together, these became De Thuislocaties.

Caroline – Has enjoyed working at De Thuislocaties since 2018. She is the point of contact for clients and is responsible for conceptualisation and execution. Family-minded with a love of travel and music.

Will we be sharing the rooms with other groups?

Not at all! The entire venue is reserved exclusively for your group. So no worries about running into others during the meeting.

Are there flip charts available?

Absolutely We have up to four flipcharts that you can freely use. Markers are included.

Is there a projector? And if so, does using it cost extra?

Of course, the venue is equipped with a projector with a large (2.40m x 2.40m) screen that you can connect to your laptop through HDMI. There is no surcharge for using the projector.

I do not have an HDMI port, now what?

We keep a supply of the most common adapters and conversion cables, which you are welcome to use.

I follow a special diet, can that be taken into account?

Absolutely. Please just communicate your needs, and we will make sure that everyone gets to enjoy a delicious lunch and snacks throughout the day.

Is it possible to come a little earlier so I can set up and prepare for the meeting?

Of course, no problem. If you tell us how much time you think you will need, we will take that into account.

What does the bundle include?

In addition to coffee, tea and (sparkling) water, we provide snacks throughout the meeting. Both healthy and slightly less healthy ones. In the morning, we offer mostly fruit like raspberries, strawberries and other berries as well as biscuits and chocolate, and in the afternoon, we serve a mix of nuts & raw vegetables. We love to pamper you!

What are the payment options?

We will send the invoice a few days after the meeting Do you prefer to pay by credit card? No problem, we can send you a payment link afterwards.
